***Carter, Koivu Now On IR; Sharp Recalled***

THE TELETYPE:

Anaheim has placed Saku Koivu and Ryan Carter on the IR, while calling up Condors center MacGregor Sharp.  Koivu had been battling an undisclosed lower body injury but has been skating regularly.  Ryan Carter has been suffering from a bruised foot, though not the same foot he re-injured earlier this season.  Sharp is second amongst the Condors in scoring behind fellow Ducks free agent signee Dan Sexton.

whatever, this is what we should have been doing during the road trip. We’re playing like an AHL team anyways; let’s get these kids some NHL ice time.

I heard it would be detrimental to expose him to this. Wonder when this organization will factor in how detrimental it is to expose US to this.

I want to see Big Sexy in the NHL. That kid is pretty tenacious. He might be able to teach some people how to play along the boards.
