Open Gameday Recap Thread Coyotes @ Ducks

DANIEL:
The Ducks proved that all good things must come to an end.  They dropped another decision to a division foe Sunday night, as they fell to the Phoenix Coyotes 3-2 in overtime.  The Ducks surrendered a one goal lead, and erased a one goal deficit in the third period.  Although they salvaged a point, the Ducks loss tonight will drop them even further into the depths of the Pacific division cellar.  The futility of the offense through two periods of play was ultimately the Ducks undoing, as they wasted a 23 save performance by J.S. Giguere.  Giguere's 23 saves were not enough to out duel his former backup Ilya Bryzgalov.  Perhaps the lone bright spot for the Ducks was that Corey Perry assisted on the Ducks second goal and now has the longest point scoring streak in team history.

Noted. From now on, you’ll have first crack until/unless that, too, fails.

No, it was me. I had something foolish to say about a possible stream, which didn’t work out anyway. But if you watch the highlight reel, there WERE cameras in the building, though they were probably just filming it for the coaching staff.

atleast we can watch tonight. should be a good game, with some much needed divisional points.

HAHAHAHAHA. I was gonna correct you, but it’s much funnier for you to comment at 9PM as though you tuned in disappointed. Unintentionally hilarious.

I had planned my whole evening around watching the game. Franticly searched through the channels looking for it, but to my surprise it turns out I was way off.

Its ok though COD Modern Warfare filled my void and is making it hard for me to get up for work. that game is the shit.

It’s always those dinky goals at the end that kill us every time.
