Well, Jean-Sebastien Giguere was phenomenal for two periods, but that wasn't enough to keep one of the hottest teams in the league at bay.  The Caps netted 4 third period goals to pull away from the Ducks and extend their winning streak to eight.  The Ducks are now 1-3-0 on this road trip and if they aren't careful are going to play themselves right out of the playoff race that they spent the past ten games playing themselves into.  There are still games against Tampa Bay and Florida.  Those are four points that the Ducks desperately need.  A bright spot for the Ducks, Saku Koivu has continued to look good since returning from a sprained knee.
