PrintIt looks like the Giguere trade might be bitter, sweet after all. Due to the fact that the Ducks acquired Jason Blake, it looks like the Ducks are demoting Big Sexy. The Ducks also recalled Justin Pogge, but no one gives a crap about him.
I wish the Ducks would have demoted Bodie instead, but I guess the Ducks felt that Blake was displacing Dan Sexton.

It’s probably because Jason Blake is a 2nd line winger. Although I wouldn’t have minded seeing Blake – Getz – Perry, move Beleskey down to Bodie’s spot and give Bodie the reassignment.
Or conversely. Move Ryan up to the RPG line and have Blake – Koivu – Sexton
