THE TELETYPE:
Anaheim announced today that it has reassigned rookie Dan Sexton to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.  The move makes room for the recently acquired Jason Blake, as well as the now skating and rehabilitating Teemu Selanne.

Sexton, who was scouted and signed by David McNab from Bowling Green last season, has performed admirably for the Ducks, filling in for Teemu Selanne after he fractured his hand in December.  San Antonio declined to play the forward in his first stint in the AHL, and he was assigned to the ECHL until the Ducks front office could find a place for him in Manitoba where he played 5 games.  That was the limit of his professional hockey experience before posting 9 goals, 18 points, 14 PIM and a -1 in 28 games with the Ducks.  He also had a goal and an assist in the Ducks' last five games, which included four 1 goal efforts.

Anaheim also called up goaltender Justin Pogge from San Antonio, though he will likely only dress if Vesa Toskala is unavailable for the Ducks game against Florida tomorrow night.
