ARTHUR:
The Ducks gave away another two goal lead, but a dominant sequence by their top line put Anaheim on top to beat Phoenix 3-2.  Toni Lydman had his second goal in as many games when he snuck down to the goal line and Ryan found him with a behind the back pass from the other side of the crease.  But the team's first score came in the form of the first NHL goal for rookie defenseman Cam Fowler, who was knocked out of the game by a hit from Shane Doan shortly after the young blueliner worked his way onto the scoreboard.

Fowler brought the puck to the net, deking his man to get to Jason Larbarbera, but Doan followed him behind the net and forced him face first into the boards while he was prone.  Later in the game, Doan put a blindside shoulder into Dan Sexton's chin in a much more obvious dirty hit.  The Coyotes captain was disciplined for neither sequence.

UPDATE: After the game, Randy Carlyle confirmed that Cam Fowler had received a cut over the bridge of his nose and was kept out for precautionary reasons.
