Syracuse already helping Sbisa
Luca Sbisa played his first game in Syracuse tonight. The Crunch games are streamed on AM1260 The Score in Syracuse. Anyways Sbisa in Syracuse is already paying dividends. He has a goal, and assist, and one huge hit. Hopefully he will get the experience and confidence boost to return to Anaheim soon. Oh ya, the Crunch beat the Norfolk Admirals 3 -1 tonight. Pielmeier made 38 saves on 39 shots and Deschamps had 2 goals.

Magics emailed me mid-game to tell me he was out there being a beast.

I think he is on speed dial if someone gets hurt but I do not think he made a great impression on RC and BM. He did not play like the top 4 guy they wanted him to be. That said I think Murray does like him and he will get another crack at some point. When Sutton gets back though it could get crowded and he might not get the ice time here. In the long run it may be better for Sbisa to spend a year in the AHL and get more ice time. He can be the lights out guy we need him to be but he might not be that guy just yet.
