Blackhawks Wave Goodbye to Barker
So much for trading Wiz to the Hawks for Barker. Anyone have a plan B?

We just got outbid here. I’m sure Murray doesn’t have the pull with this front office that he did with last year’s, but no way was Barker worth throwing in a Nick Leddy. I don’t know that I’d rather keep Wiz, but the Blackhawks front office had cap problems next year; we didn’t have to do them any favors. Well, not unless they wanted Logan MacMillan or something. But Wiz plus Mitera or Clark or Gardiner or anyone like that would’ve been too much.
