Pogge AHL Player Of The Week
For those worried about the Justin Pogge era in Anaheim, the goaltender was named AHL player of the week after the Ducks sent him back to the minors this month. Pogge stopped 97 of 100 shots in three starts for the Rampage, and the goalie is 2.24 and .931 on the season. He's played in only 18 games for San Antonio (after a 9 game stint in the ECHL), but this is, statistically, his best minor league season to date after a disappointing three-year development cycle with the Toronto Marlies put him on the Maple Leafs trading block. At this point, anything but another step backwards is a step forward for Pogge.
