***Selanne Sets All-Time Olympic Scoring Record***

THE TELETYPE:
With the secondary assist on Kimmo Timonen's second goal against Germany tonight, Teemu Selanne set the all-time Olympic scoring record with his 37th point (20 goals and 17 assists).  The tally came with 3:57 left in the 2nd period.

This is Selanne's fifth Winter Games with Finland, who finished 7th (1992), Bronze (1998), 6th (2002) and Silver (2006) in its first four efforts with the Finnish Flash.  Selanne was ineligible for the Lillehammer games in 1994, where Finland won a Bronze medal.

Good for Teemu. Now all he has to do is reach 601 goals to tie himself with Jari Kurri.
