***Ducks Announce Next Year's Ticket Prices, 4 Player Recall***

THE TELETYPE:
After freezing their ticket prices for the 09-10 season, the Ducks announced today that they will increase ticket prices by roughly 2.6% for next year.  The team announced that season ticket packages will start at $12.50 per game.  According to the team's marketing report, Anaheim's season ticket prices were the 9th cheapest in the NHL for 09-10.

The Ducks also announced a four player recall of defensemen Brett Festerling and Brendan Mikkelson from Toronto, right wing Dan Sexton from Manitoba and goaltender Timo Pielmeier from Bakersfield of the ECHL.  Sexton and Pielmeier were able to attend practice today.

Boo Brendan Mikkelson

Yay Dan Sexton and Brett Festerling.
Do we have spots for them? Who goes down/away?

we have a spot for a defenseman. So this is Mikkelson’s chance to beat out Festerling. If Dr. Mikkel shows up, he will, because an offensive guy makes sense paired with Brookbank. If Mr. Hyde shows up, Festerling is safe. I’m not really sure why Sexton is up, unless we’re giving up on the double dose of size that is Parros/Bodie or committing Blake permanently to the 3rd/4th line. Maybe there’s a trade a-brewin

Smells like a trade is going to happen soon.

New York looked crazy this morning, Slyintine. You snowed in to wherever you are?

Yes yes. It was kind of silly, but also beautiful

My uncle is still without power due to the storm.

Something I overlooked at first

With Pielmeier up, that makes 3 goaltenders. Is Toskala out of here already?
Also, don’t we have 2 spots for defensemen? Isn’t Mikkelson essentially taking Boynton’s roster spot? Seven D men with one on the scratch, right?

Smells like a trade is going to happen soon.

I smell it too.

the room we had was the spot festerling evacuated before the break. If we put him back, it’s a full boat again. We’ve got two scratched forwards now with blake added to the lineup. Supposedly, Pielmeier is just around to get some work in with Peeters. I can’t imagine Toskala would be renewed, so he’s technically out of here, but the Pielmeier call up is probably just about getting an idea if he’s ready to leap frog Pogge for next year.

Don’t you mean three scratched forwards?

Matt Beleskey-Ryan Getzlaf-Corey Perry

Bobby Ryan-Saku Koivu-Teemu Selanne

Todd Marchant-Kyle Chipchura-Troy Bodie

Jason Blake-Ryan Carter-Mike Brown

Evgeny Arthukhin-Petteri Nokelainen-George Parros

Yeah I know. I was just listing the forwards that were on our 23 man roster prior to the Olympic break.

Like others have said, I too smell a trade in the makings. And the thought of a trade with Murray at the helm scares me.

yeah, meant three. basically just meant there was no defenseman in the scratch, so our open roster spot belongs to a D
