THE TELETYPE:
The OC Register is reporting that Teemu Selanne suffered a shoulder sprain in yesterday's game against the Sharks and is officially listed as day to day with another evaluation set for tomorrow. Ryan Getzlaf, meanwhile, aggravated the ankle injury he suffered prior to the Olympics, but no further damage was found after an MRI exam. The Ducks center is also listed as day-to-day. The team faces Chicago in Anaheim on Wednesday. George Parros, who was also injured yesterday during the team's morning skate, will be available for that game.
UPDATE 3-16: Tanya Lyon of The OC Register filed the video report below with an update on Teemu. The Register says both players declare themselves likely for tomorrow:
