Icethetics says Ducks Third Jersey coming in 2010-11

So the Ducks are making a 3rd jersey next season. What are you hoping for or predicting?

I'm hoping we'll see an experiment with the D flying solo from the ucks. Maybe a recolor or a throwback? Orange or gold jersey? Maybe we'll be seeing something with ridiculous Reebok piping. There are no details on what they're making, besides that it's a 3rd.

Hayward said he saw them last season and liked them. I sincerely hope its’ a throwback. At least bring back the wild wing patches on the shoulders or something, but more than likely it’s something simple.

Exactly and if we were still the Mighty Ducks I would say keep the MD but it just doesn’t make sense to keep it. It was a great jearsey and with Anaheim written across the from it fits in better now then it did before.

i’m not interested in them saying mighty ducks, though i do look forward to the day when we are old enough that such a jersey would be quaint. But it would be nice to have the old wild wing smirk patch on the shoulders. or the old mask or something. just saying. throwback. But no teal or eggplant! you just get that shit out of your head right now!

No I was talking about the Black and Purple alternate jearsey from a few years ago. Would I ever want to go with a green jearsey again? Oh God no. And I was also trying to push the point across that we are not the Mighty Ducks anymore and that some changes would need to be made to update it. As for your idea of the ducks goalie mask idea on the shoulders I like it but it had me thinking instead of having Anaheim across the front have the mask on the old alt. jearsey.

The logo nor the colors should of never changed. It is time to bring back the original logo and colors. And hopefully based on the reception it will get (which I think is positive) eventually a modernized version of the old logo and colors will return. The change was unnecessary, it was all driven by Burke who duped the Samuelis in changing everything in the first place. One is gone and the others’ status is up in the air. Time to bring the old logo back…I guess the word Mighty doesn’t need to come back though. Do you guys seriously that futuristic duck imprint looks good? Is it a flying D …a duck paw…wtf? Old school

I would LOVE to see them in their old 1993 MIGHTY Ducks jersey. I’ve been a fan since they drafted my favorite college player Paul Kariya, and I grew up watching the disney movies too. They will ALWAYS be the Mighty Ducks to me.
