THE TELETYPE:
Per several reports and a salary profile in Capgeek, the Anaheim Ducks have signed Matt Clark to a three year two-way contract starting in 2010-11 at 710K, 760K and 780K for a cap hit of 750K, with an AHL salary of 67.5K per year.  The 6'4" blueliner was the Ducks' second-round draft pick last June and has played a strong season with the Brampton Battalion of the OHL.  His team advanced to the second round of the playoffs last night, but Clark is currently under an indefinite suspension following a check from behind in Game 6 of the first round series.  UPDATE:  The OHL announced today (April 1st) that Clark will receive a four game suspension.
