Off-Season Gameplan...but not mine.
TSN released their off-season gameplan for the Ducks. My only major disagreement is that the Ducks should make signing Wisniewski a top priority. Well, you can read it here.

Meh. I thought it was funny that Scott Cullen suggested that we sign Matt Cullen if we can’t work out a deal with Saku.
As far as the deal with Wis goes, I’m with you. Send him packing.
There's nothing to see here. And nothing gazes back at me.
I asked Matt Cullen to prom my senior year of high school. He said if the team made the playoffs, he’d go (not sure how that would’ve worked out). Alas, they did not make it…

Mac and Cheese! The only Cullen story I remember, aside from him being a McNab pick, is that he used to carbo-load in the locker room with a bowl of mac and cheese. He was teased about it and the prospect of someone knocking it out of him, but really I took issue with anyone eating in a locker room. Even cheese, even a nice locker room . . .

his true value as a defenceman who can handle the puck,
Did I miss something? Last I checked, Wiz was incapable of handling the puck.
I think they mean confidence with the puck in the offensive zone. I call it overconfidence, but I’m an asshole, so go figure.

lol i think cullen should be sent packing… matt cullen? please and he didnt even mention gardiner for more than one sentence… wow see most ppl in the world and the nhl dont care or like the ducks its a sad simple fact my friends :(
I’ve read a few of these, and it’s not uncommon for the prospects who aren’t close to the NHL to be brushed over. I agree that most media outlets don’t care about the Ducks, but these articles are meant to provide NHL solutions, and Gardiner won’t be with the Ducks next year. Maybe Syracuse, but I don’t know if he’s signed a pro deal yet, or not. I don’t think so, but I’ve been wrong before.
They will never care about NCAA kids, especially American kids in the NCAA, so them not mentioning Gardiner’s no big deal.

yeah, both players with extensive international play experience and good international performances. Meanwhile, Ryan Stoa misses a few selections and disappears from existence until they see him on the Avs. Ridiculous.

Did anyone else come to the conclusion that Cullen assumed we were going to be able to sign BR to a long term deal? That’s a lot of cap space eaten up for the laundry list of other players he wants us to sign.
Wiz is the gingerbread man. Hit him once and he crumbles. He goes to the locker room for icing and comes back “triumphantly.” I thought that was amazing after he went off on the stretcher. I was impressed the next 3 times. Now I’m just annoyed. Time to ease on down the road, Wiz.

He SO doesn’t need to make those blocks in this system, too. And the one time he was actually supposed to this season, a long shot coming at him high in the slot, he made sure to screen the bejeezus out of Hiller. If the man stuck to the things he knew how to do and was good at, the Blackhawks would have given him the money he’s asking for. Him and Lupul need a career counselor STAT.
