ARTHUR:
The Ducks shot up to 4th place with a 3-1 win over the Kings at Staples Center.  Goals by Brandon McMillan, Saku Koivu and Francois Beauchemin, the latter two on the power play, built a three goal lead that Los Angeles just could not overcome, and losses by Phoenix and Nashville in their respective regular season finales guaranteed the Ducks home ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs.

Teemu Selanne fought (yeah, it was weird just typing it) for the second time in the quadragenarian's career, after some back and forth along the boards with Jack Johnson and Brad Richardson led to a scrum, with the latter obliging the Finnish Flash in a donnybrook.  Brookbank also squared off with Kyle Clifford, cutting the Kings enforcer and, perhaps, buying the Lanigan native a continued spot in the lineup for the playoffs.
