Is it time to (permanently) split up the Triplets?
I spoke very highly of them during my gameday post, but Nashville's D totally shut them down last night (it's almost 2 am on the East Coast). The Suter-Weber tandem was especially menacing, and they seemed to really get under Pears' skin.
The only goal came from Selanne (on a man advantage), and it seems as though secondary scoring - and scoring on the PP - will be crucial for success in this series.
Chicago won the cup last year b/c of their depth (and Coach Q's brilliant line changes). Does RC need to get creative?
So many questions, so little time.

Huh?
The Suter-Weber tandem was especially menacing, and they seemed to really get under Pears’ skin
Perry hit Rinne in the nuts and you’re gonna accuse Suter and Weber of getting under Perry’s skin? That boy’s a cheap shot artist…he’s one for one in dirty games. I’m sure you love him though cause he’s yours.
Defense and goaltending can go a long way, dontcha think?
I look forward to the rest of the series. No matter how bad we crushed you last night, y’all will spring back and play good enough to keep games close. Like the TV guys say, this is gonna be the best series, unfortunately nobody is gonna see it!
Preds in 5.

you pretty much said an oxymoron, how can you say it’s gonna be the best series and predict it last 5 games. The best series in the opening round will last more than 5 games, I can guarantee that.
I was trying to be nice :)
Its gonna be high-flying, hard hitting, cheap shot-Perry-ing, put the children in the basement hockey. And you’re gonna lose 4 outta the first 5.

Wow, you sound so cocky. I wouldn’t be cocky, until my team actually has won something in the playoffs before. I can understand Detroit fans being cocky with their playoff success, but Nashville fans being so cocky after one game.
Cocky?
You won the cup 4 years ago and now you’re world beaters? Or you beat a division rival in 7 last year and now you’re all that? This is a new year. And just like I’ve said before, you boys are made for us. We gonna win in 4. Five at the most.
The smackdown continues tonight. But I’ll be nice. I will offer you this one time to jump on the Preds’ bandwagon. You cannot stop the tsunami that is Smashville.
What say you?

I think we are world beaters? what are you talking about, if you look at all my previous posts, I haven’t talked any crap about how good I think we are or made any predictions. You think your going to sweep us, like i said, your cocky.

They pretty much only played together 1 period yesterday and then RC pretty much split them up. RC will probably go back and forth. To permanently to split them up would be an over reaction, because when they are on, they are unstoppable. I don’t think you can really permanently do anything, keep all options open. I think we’ll bounce back.
G-P-R line is not gonna bouce back, theyr'e gonna get bounced.
But what the heck is that #8 dude? He’s like superman! I fear him more than I do Perry or anybody else on your team.

You're such a troll, Shea Weber for President :)
And I agree with you, fastat3m

I say no to the title. Not till next year. Chemistry is vital at this stage.
