The Hockey News, via the Canadian Press, is reporting that Brooks Laich has signed a six year deal to stay in Washington. According to capgeek, the deal is worth an unconfirmed 4.5 a year. This is pretty bad for the Ducks. Signing Laich was probably a fantasy anyway, but now the Ducks will have more competition for the Dupuis, Talbot, and Kennedys of the FA market.
