If it weren't for a Dustin Penner tweet (never thought I'd say that), I wouldn't have known there is a charity hockey game Friday night at Anaheim Ice.
Tonight, many of your favorite Anaheim Ducks - well, the ones that stayed in the area - will be taking to the ice in a game benefiting CHOC and the Jr. Ducks at Anaheim Ice, the Ducks practice facility. The game features current and new Ducks, former Ducks, many Kings and two guys who married/engaged to actresses, keeping them in the LA area.
I have no idea if there are still tickets available, but go ahead an give it a shot if you want to go. The tickets are $40 and can be reserved by calling Glen Agdinaoay (good luck saying that last name) at 714-493-1417.
Again, no idea if seats are still available. I didn't find out about the game until late Wednesday night through Dustin Penner's twitter feed.
I'll be there covering the event for AC. If the data/WiFi has gotten better at AI, I'll be updating this story stream and posting on my twitter account and the Anaheim Calling twitter account. If not and it still sucks, I'll post video and pictures after the game.
