no bah for the Jewels From the Crown link. I really like their work its just been too depressing to read about hockey for most of this year. Got lost in their back logs and killed myself a whole mess of clock here at work.

Reading about hockey has been quite depressing this season. My college hockey team has been hovering around .500 (after compiling a near-perfect record last season), so it’s been a doubly depressing year for me. It’s interesting though: the Ducks haven’t been included in any of the postseason chatter, but it may not be mathematically impossible for us to make the playoffs (I haven’t crunched the numbers). And our depth players seem to be performing well, which is exciting.
