Ahh the trade deadline has come and gone. The Ducks made minor moves sending Mark Fraser and Andrew Gordon to Toronto and Vancouver, respectively, in exchange for Dale Mitchell and Sebastian Erixon. (Stick tap to Sleek for already nicknaming the latter "Lil' Sebastian".) I am left heartbroken as to my love Samuel Pahlsson going to Team Sweden Vancouver for two late round draft picks. Sigh.

Anyhoo, Colorado! Humongous big game for the Ducks. The Avalanche currently sit four points ahead of the boys in the standings. Somewhere I read last night that the Ducks have 20 games left: 10 against playoff teams and 10 against non-playoff teams, and 10 games at home and 10 away. The final stretch is here folks.
