Ducks Sign Ryan Lasch to Two-Way Deal

According to Eric Stephens and Cap Geek, the Ducks have signed forward Ryan Lasch to a two-year, two-way deal. Both sources are awaiting confirmation from the Ducks. Lasch is straight outta The OC. (Random fact: he went to a rival high school of mine, Trabuco Hills.) After graduating from THHS, he ended up at St. Cloud State and had a pretty successful college career. Following college, he headed over to Europe where he just finished his only, and final, season with the Lahti Pelicans of Finland's top pro league, SM-liiga. Take a look at the video above of Lasch scoring a hattrick. Hope your up-to-date with your Finnish...or Swedish. I'm not quite sure.

To those of us that watched the World Championships, his name might sound familiar. Lasch played along side Bobby Ryan, Cam Fowler, and Kyle Palmieri on Team USA. In researching Lasch, I came across this funny story from Worlds. With a trip to a Finnish spa under his belt, Lasch is going to fit right in.

GM Bob Murray has been a busy guy this week. He was forced to leave the depths of Castle Greyskull to attend the GM meetings. While there, he's managed to sign Lasch and Tim Heed.

UPDATE: Confirmed signing by Ducks. Here's the announcement.
