Ducks Make Roster Moves In Anticipation Of Work Stoppage

The Ducks have made the following roster moves before the inevitable lockout tomorrow night.

Assigned to Norfolk Admirals (American Hockey League)*:
Frederik Andersen - Goaltender
Igor Bobkov - Goaltender
Josh Brittain - Left Wing
Mat Clark - Defenseman
Marco Cousineau - Goaltender
Corey Elkins - Center
Emerson Etem - Right Wing
Peter Holland - Center
Matt Kennedy - Right Wing
Ryan Lasch - Right Wing
Brandon McMillan - Left Wing
John Mitchell - Left Wing
Kyle Palmieri - Right Wing
Devante Smith-Pelly - Right Wing
Sami Vatanen - Defenseman
Chris Wagner - Center

*Once work-stoppage ends, these players can be called back up to the Ducks without having to go through waivers as long as they're called up at least three days before start of season.

John Gibson - Goaltender (Kitchener/OHL)
Rickard Rakell - Right Wing (Plymouth/OHL)

Assigned to Sweden:
Max Friberg - Left Wing (Timra/Swedish Elite League)
Tim Heed - Defenseman (Vaxjo/Swedish Elite League)
