Numbers for Nerds

Team Records: Ducks 7-3-0, Senators 4-3-2, Ducks Record Head-to-Head vs Ottawa 1-0-0 (I think we all remember the game, 4-1 on Oct. 13)

Team Leaders: Ducks - Corey Perry (5-4-9), Mathieu Perreault (4-5-9) and Ryan Getzlaf (3-6-9) hold the joint points lead, while Perry leads in goals with five, followed by Perreault, Jakob Silfverberg and Nick Bonino who each have four.

Sens - Jason Spezza leads in both points and goals (7-3-10) with Bobby Ryan trailing in each category by only one (6-3-9). Erik Karlsson is averaging 27:34 TOI/G which is over six minutes more than his next closest teammate Mark Methot (21:28).

Goalies: I'd like to see Frederik Andersen start, seeing as he hasn't given up a goal in his NHL career (of two periods) yet and that was against Ottawa earlier in the month. Also because according to Eric Stephens of the OC Register ($) Craig Anderson (4-1-2, 2.58 GAA, .930 Sv%) will start for the Sens to make it an Andersen vs. Anderson match up as Dan Wood so kindly pointed out on twitter this morning. Not to mention the fact that Anderson was pulled after 4:06 and Robin Lehner (0-2-0, 2.41, .940) made some incredible saves last time these two teams faced off.

Power Play: Ducks - As Maxine Nightengale famously sang we're "Right back where we started from" in 30th with a 7.7 PP%, Bonino, Perry and Teemu Selanne (who is probably not going to play) have the three lonely power play tallies for the Ducks.

Sens - 16th in the league with an 18.5% conversion rate. Bobby has three PPG and Spezza has the Sens' other two.

Penalty Kill: Ducks - 75.7% (26th), Emerson Etem has the lone shorthanded goal for the Ducks and leads all Ducks forwards in shorthanded TOI/G with 2:08

Sens - 83.0% (12th) Ottawa hasn't scored a shorty yet, but our old friend Chris Phillips leads the team in shorthanded TOI/G with 5:08 (Travis Moen thanks you Mr. Phillips)
