David Steckel is the newest Anaheim Duck. Say thank you for not being under Randy Carlyle anymore.
I don't know what we gave up, but Toronto needed a roster spot for Lupul to come back. So Steckel is here -- he's a solid fourth-liner who is BRILLIANT in faceoffs.
He's an improvement over McMillan, as much as I like the kid. This could point to some longer term concerns with Bonino, but likely this is Murray and Nonis back-scratching a little in a harmless swap that helps both clubs.
