It is fast approaching at under a month away. There are still some needs for this team. The Ducks are in an interesting situation considering Perry and Getzlaf and much of what they do will depends on them. As I see it, I doubt Murray wants to add long term salary because he doesn't want to affect his chances of resigning both players. That being said, there are a few players that may fit our line up as regular rentals. In my opinion our biggest needs are 2 top 6 forwards. Either another LW or C or both. I don't really see us selling anyone like Lydman as a rental as they are more valuable as depth then the minor picks they would garner. Clowe could fit in the top 6 or Morrow. Roy could also work. The problem I see with all of those players is that they are from divisional rivals. As a 2c I like the idea of Danny Briere. He has a high cap hit but his actual Salary drops significantly the next two years. Unfortunately that cap hit causes some cap trouble with Getzlafs and Perrys new contracts. So both him and a player like Stastny are out of the question unless Perry is on the way out.

So who does everyone else think we should consider, or do we think Murray should sit tight with his current roster. Remember it is likely Selannes last season. I do think Koivu is coming back though.
