Ducks Hit the Ice: Training Camp Day 2 Tweet-splosion

Kirk Irwin

Updates from the first day of On-Ice training camp.

The good news is that the Ducks were officially on the ice for the first time together today (broken up into three sessions at Anaheim Ice).  The bad news, since it is a weekday nobody at AC was able to attend.  So, as we did yesterday, we are forced to rely on updates from around the internet (mostly twitter).  The better news, Jen may or may not have the sniffles so we won't have to resort to this type of thing tomorrow.

Of course, if you were able to make it out to Anaheim today we want to hear any kind of observations, opinions or analysis in the comments.

In case you forgot, here's the rest of the schedule and the roster.

First off, it's not technically a training camp update, but it is awesome that Viktor Fasth has an updated version of Guy Hebert's classic Mighty Ducks mask for Throwback Night [Puck Daddy]

Yesterday, Jen and I decided that Silfverberg has a second career as a Draco Malfoy impersonator.

I'd say those line combos are all a good sign for Peter Holland.  Not a huge threat from Winnik, but Rickard Rakell is notably absent.

...And to close it out, the full gallery of pictures from today's sessions as well as some post skate comments.
