Numbers for Nerds:
A big number to keep in the back of your mind as the season winds down comes from the Twitter account of our dude Kyle:
Capture_medium

Los Angeles is extremely unhelpful as we all know, so this number remains the same at the moment. Like Kyle said, it will decrease whenever the Ducks earn points or the Sharks lose them, meaning an Anaheim win tonight will drop the magic number down to five.

On an unrelated note, the amount of goals that the Ducks have allowed on the season is only three more than the Predators have scored. Clearly this stat doesn't favor the wild idea of a Nashville blowout.

Team Records:
Ducks: 50-18-8, 108 points, 1st in the Pacific Division
Predators: 33-32-11, 77 points, 7th in the Central Division
Season series: Ducks lead 2-0 (4-3, 5-2)

Team Leaders:
Ducks: Ryan Getzlaf (31 goals-53 assists-84 points), Corey Perry (41-37-78), Nick Bonino (20-27-47)
Predators: Shea Weber (21-29-50), Craig Smith (20-24-44), Patric "Horny" (yes, really) Hornqvist (17-26-43)

Starting Goalies:
Ducks: Jonas Hiller (29-11-7, 2.41 GAA, .913 save percentage)
Predators: Pekka Rinne (7-10-2, 2.89 GAA, .898 save percentage)

Power Play:
Ducks: 16.7%, 21st in the NHL, Perry and Bones with 7 power play goals each
Predators: 19.2%, 11th in the NHL, Weber with 11 goals on the man advantage

Penalty Kill:
Ducks: 81.2%, 20th in the NHL, speedster Andrew Cogliano with 3 shorties on the year
Predators: 79.4%, 26th in the NHL, Nick Spaling and Eric Nystrom with Nashville's only shorthanded tallies
