Does this signify a Paul Maurice hiring within the next few hours?
And to think about 2 weeks ago people thought the Isles were going to be the first ones to fire their coach. I wonder how this affects any possible trades for Bobby Ryan.

Sorry if this is a repeat post, but I found this interesting. Scroll down a ways and see that Boudreau give his team the most extra standings points per game. We really do have an amazing coach.
Check out the Leafs draft history. 1975 was a good year for future NHL coaches/GMs: Leafs drafted Bruce Boudreau, Ron Wilson, Ken Holland and Doug Jarvis in the same year.
Our friend JP is running excerpts from Bruce Boudreau's upcoming autobiography and today's deals with his minor league career, work ethic, and Dave Keon (a little).
Quick programming note here. Bruce Boudreau will be a guest of The Junkies at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 13. Listen on your radio at 106.7 or online by following this link.
Gabby talks steroids, Theo and Varly, Feds and Kozzie (sure sound like done deals, don't they?), Green (mono?) and more - well worth the six minutes.
Excellent story in The Star today on Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau, who grew up in Toronto a Maple Leafs fan and eventually played a few games in the blue and white. It's incredible to think that, 10 years ago, he was coaching the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Today's read o' the day.
Thought you guys over here at PPP would be interested to see this writeup on Bruce Boudreau from thestar.com if you have not already. He talks about his life-long love of the Leafs and the author discusses how the Leafs handled him as a prospect. Worth a read. And, of course, we'd love to have any willing parties back on the Caps' bandwagon again this year!
