Open Gameday Recap Thread Ducks @ Coyotes

DANIEL:

The Ducks turned in a quality effort tonight in the second of  back to back games.  They continued their streak of 6 consecutive games surrendering a power play goal.  Corey Perry stayed hot, and the chippiness was inspiring.  Bryzgalov haunted the Ducks by making a few marvelous saves.  Hiller turned in an incredible performance, and made a strong argument to permanently usurp Giguere as the no. 1 netminder in Anaheim.  The defensive play was vastly improved, but a mental mistake by Wisniewski 17 seconds after Selanne scored the go ahead goal ended up forcing overtime, and the eventual shootout loss.  Still the effort was much more coordinated, and the Ducks seem to be settling into their roles.  From here on out their play should be markedly improved.
