DANIEL:
The Ducks bowed down to the Kings, and were completely dominated in tonight's matchup. The Ducks couldn't generate any offense through the first period and a half, during which they couldn't buy a call. A poor defensive effort once again victimized a rather impressive Jonas Hiller. Corey Perry is still finding ways to score, recording a goal and an assist to extend his scoring streak to 19 games. The lone bright spot for the Ducks had to be the play of Matt Beleskey who assisted on the game tying goal and the almost knotted the score up again with a little less than two minutes to play. Beleskey also drew the penalty that allowed the Ducks to finish the game with a failed power play. Evgeny Artyukhin once again found himself riling Randy Carlyle's anger by recording three offensive zone penalties. A problem he had seemed to fix during recent games. The Ducks finished the homestand at a very average 4-2-1, and have only one victory against Pacific Division opponents. It's probably time for the Ducks to start selling off their assets and start thinking about rebuilding.
