DANIEL:
The Ducks have now one two games in a row on the road. Big Sexy had another multipoint effort by setting up the first and game winning goals for the Ducks. Jonas Hiller was phenomenal in the third period and started flashing the glove that had people thinking he could supplant Jean-Sebastien Giguere in the first place. There were a lot of broken hearts in Vancouver, both on the ice and in the stands. The Ducks have not engaged in a complete turnaround, but they have only two regulation losses in their last 12 games. If nothing else, the Ducks are turning in more consistent efforts and battling for their ice. They dominated long stretches of this game, and Randy Carlyle has to be happy with his second line, as well as his improving defense. The Canucks were riding a three game winning streak and had won 5 of their last 7. Now they will match up against a Sharks club that will probably never forget last year's playoffs. The challenges continue to come for the Ducks, let's see if they can continue down the long road out of the Western Conference cellar.
