ARTHUR:

The Ducks return home the self-conquering heroes tonight after a disastrous mini-road trip. The team is once again the worst in the West. They will get two games to collect themselves at The Pond before taking the road to face Detroit and Columbus at the end of the week.

The lineup tonight figures to be the same, except for the man between the pipes. Artyukhin may start in place of Beleskey, but the big Russian has fallen out of favor with Carlyle after his performance against LA and watched rookies (Dan Sexton and Matt Beleskey) occupy his traditional spots in the lineup against Minnesota.

Bob Murray has no big plans for the near future, so take a close look at the product on the ice tonight. That's what we'll need to get us through December. Unless Chipchura makes a case for the Selke, Sexton and Beleskey make cases for the Calder and, in my opinion, all three makes cases for the Vezina, the Ducks will probably offer much of the same in the W-L columns going into the New Year.

Post any lineup changes and game info in the comments.

F all of our L's!
