ARTHUR:
Former Duck Curtis Glencross scored Calgary's third breakaway goal of the game at 9:19 of the 2nd to put the Flames up 4-3, but Anaheim rallied in the 3rd behind two goals by Corey Perry and Bobby Ryan to hold on for the win. The Ducks power play managed a goal, when Getzlaf centered the puck to a poised Dan Sexton, but they also managed to give up a breakaway tally to defenseman Mark Giordano just as he was sprung from the box.
The win takes two points from a playoff bubble team and keeps Anaheim from sliding too far behind the pack in the Western Conference, but the team didn't play exceptionally well tonight. It was a strong offensive effort to follow up the shutout in Los Angeles, but the Ducks will have to find more composure or many more 5+ goal nights to create another winning streak.
