The Ducks offense failed them tonight as a solid 34 save effort by Jonas Hiller fell to the wayside. Despite 26 shots on goal, the Ducks scored only one goal. That goal, by Mike Brown, came after Brown crashed the net and accidentally sticked the puck past a swimming Rinne. Other than that, the Ducks generated almost nothing in terms of quality scoring opportunities, and went 0 for 2 on the power play. The Ducks are running out of games to try and fight their way back into the playoff race. The only thing left to watch this season might be who gets sold to playoff contenders and whether or not the Flyers find it in their hearts to fail with us and improve our draft class.
