ARTHUR:
If you're scheduled to play back-to-backs against the 11th seed and the 1st seed in the Eastern Conference respectively, you should probably win that first game. Anaheim has two more games to play in what has been a successful month, but their chances of stopping the streaking Capitals are slim, especially on the tail end of back to backs.
Of course, the Ducks shut down an impressive Blackhawks winning streak this season, as well as shutting down Chicago on the tail end of road back to backs. And if that last big win is any indication, the Ducks will go as Jonas HIller goes. Though based on their recent poor efforts, it would help if they scored. Left Wing Lock posits Giguere versus Neuvirth tonight, but I think we'll see Hiller. Carlyle's going to give him a shot at back-to-backs until he consistently gets it right. Neuvirth played well in relief last night, but he's been pulled twice this month for a GAA per 60 minutes of 2.91 for January.
There's another 4PM official watch party at Oggi's, this time in Corona (2363 California St., Suite 105).
Post any game info and lineup changes in the comments. I should be in the comments before the 3rd.
