ARTHUR:
If you look to the right sidebar, beneath the Fanposts section, you will see that we have a new NHL.com video player. From the player window, you can watch highlights from the last 9 Ducks games, the NHL Plays of the Week or The Hockey Show. You also have access to quick links to the Anaheim Schedule, Stats, and the Ducks TV player. Daniel and I will use it as a shortcut to embed video links, but it's great as far as shiny new toys go and I'm sure you guys will get plenty of mileage out of it.

Anaheim opened the months of December and January with losing streaks, each stretching one game into the previous month. They're ahead of that mark tonight, as they play their last game in January with back to back losses directly behind them. Though, it should be noted, they are well on pace to match their Christmastime record of 1-6 between December 23rd and January 3rd. Tampa, meanwhile, is 4-1 in its last five games after back to back losses to Florida. The mark is deceptive, considering it includes wins over Carolina and Toronto, but at 12th in the East with only one point fewer than Anaheim, the Lightning present an even matchup tonight, perhaps buoyed by their recent success.

Teemu's skating, he's on solid food and he's talking Olympics. I'm posting too early for Stephens' line rushes, but as the rushes have inaccurately predicted the lineup lately (mostly on the fourth line and third pairing), that's no big loss. Left Wing Lock has an unconfirmed Hiller/Nittymaki tonight. The netminders are within 1/100th of a point of each other in even strength save percentage. Hiller has seen more ice time, but Nittymaki would be making his 8th straight start if he manned the pipes tonight.

Post any game info and lineup changes in the comments.
