I was reading an article on TSN that noted that today is Boxing Day. It was my understanding that Boxing Day couldn't fall on a Sunday, but I guess Canadians celebrate it on Sunday?
If so, it would be nice of the Canadian members of the Kings (they of 41 points in 33 games played) to give two points of alms to the Canadian members of the Ducks (they of 40 points in 38 games played). It would be nice.
The Ducks are fast approaching the midpoint of their season with a remaining schedule that is slightly less grueling than the one they've been accustomed to thus far. Anaheim will play only 11 games in January (as many as they will play in February), including five games of a six-game homestand and a break at the month's end. It would be nice to build a little momentum going into that stretch. It would be nice.
