We haven't really done enough to remember Giguere here. Daniel has said a few words here and there, and I've been mostly quiet on it. To be clear, I absolutely love the guy. I own two Giguere jerseys, one of which is his Mooseheads #47 jersey from The Q. I haven't seen any other Ducks fans sporting it, so if you saw Giguere's junior jersey at a Ducks game, that was probably me. Nice to meet you. Anyways, when Giguere retires (and if we're still around), I would definitely love to do a proper retrospective, and I will be sure to crib all of my information from Sleek's awesome "Remembering Jiggy" series. Part 2 is up today.
Returning from the Olympics, Anaheim's schedule will be tough sledding, to say nothing of the fact that they may be the team in the NHL to feel the most strain from the Vancouver games while getting the fewest players back. Tonight's game is a rare opportunity against a league-worst opponent, an opportunity this same Ducks team blew against Toronto in October when they needed a pick-me-up on a tough homestand. They say a playoff team at least wins the games it's supposed to win. Tonight, we'll see if the February Ducks are any more 'playoff' than the October ones.
Post any game info and lineup changes in the comments.
