Well, the Ducks are 0-0-1 in farewell games so far. How many left? There's at least one tonight (Tkachuk), and then there's Sunday's game, the last game of the season. And if it's the last game of the season, then it's time for eyes to turn to Teemu and Niedermayer like a shoe hanging by a single toe over a previously dropped shoe.
They're handing out the Hobey Baker award tonight, but sadly, nothing will keep me from watching most, if not all, of this game. As Sleek will tell you, the Ducks experienced the largest shot differential of the Carlyle era last night, making the likely exodus of Anaheim's elder UFA's all the more disturbing.
For those wondering about the Frozen Four, it's Badgers/Eagles in the championship game. a rematch of the 2006 final where current NHLers Joe Pavelski, Davis Drewiske, Brian Elliott and Wisconsin took on Boston College and their NHLers . . . er, hmm, I think Peter Harrold was on that team . . . and I want to say Brian Boyle? Anyways, it's a good matchup, and you should watch it, if only because top Ducks prospects Justin Schultz and Jake Gardiner are playing in a championship game.
Post any game info and lineup changes in the comments.
