According to TSN, the Ducks waived defenseman Nathan Oystrick, whom they acquired from Atlanta for Evgeny Artyukhin last year. Oystrick joins former Ducks Petteri Nokelainen and Todd Fedoruk on the waiver wire. If unclaimed, they can be bought out and become UFA's when free agency opens on July 1st. The Senators have already bought out the final year of forward Jonathan Cheechoo's contract.
UPDATE: J.P. Hoornstra confirms that the Ducks have bought out Nathan Oystrick's contract, spreading 366K over the next two seasons.
