Tough one. The Ducks had a cameo on The Sedin Show, as each twin potted a goal and the pair regularly ran a puck possession clinic in the Anaheim defensive zone en route to a 4-1 Ducks loss. Anaheim's lone score came on a Josh Green deflection of a point shot by Sheldon Brookbank.
The game got chippy at times, but nowhere near the bonanza of frontier justice that was served against the Sharks last night. Coach Carlyle tried a few different sets on both offense and defense, but he kept Cam Fowler with Lubomir Visnovsky for most of the contest, an assignment that guaranteed the prospect a lion's share of the ice time (25:08, which was tops for any Duck) against some veteran NHL forwards, not to mention the Canucks' superstar tandem. The coaching staff has given Fowler 22+ minutes in each of his three preseason starts, and as they pare down the preseason roster into a lineup more closely resembling the season roster (and other teams do the same), it will be interesting to see if they can afford him the same chart position and ice time.
