My headline to this post is intentional because there are zero other storylines going into this game. The prodigal son returns to where it all started. While we all think of Teemu Selanne as a life long Duck, he was a Winnipeg Jet at one point. Really, if he wasn't, he may have never become a Duck.

The Anaheim Calling team worked this week on a very last minute project I gave them (and kicked ass on it). Tribute to Teemu Week was a way for us to show how much we appreciate what Teemu has done for us as fans by celebrating his journey. If you missed any of the posts, click on the links below:

Tonight's environment should be fun. I highly doubt that Teemu will receive the same reception that Shane Doan did (boos). It's kind of ironic that Teemu's career has come full circle. With this likely being his last season, it's fitting that he would return to where it all stared. Yeah, it's not the original Jets since they're in Phoenix (for now), but the fans are still the same. As the former front office of the Jets is now scattered, I'm sure they're all thinking the same thing as they see Teemu skate across the ice in a Ducks sweater: "I've made a huge mistake."

Enjoy tonight. Let's get Teemu an Ovechtrick and a win would be nice too. Go Teemu.

[Non-Teemu News: Maxime Macenauer sent down to Syracuse (bummer); Jacques Martin fired in Montreal (Carlyle MTL bound?); Darryl Sutter hired as coach for Kings (starts Tuesday, first game versus Ducks).]
