First, on behalf of Anaheim Calling (except for Robby and Daniel, I think), I would like to welcome Albert Pujols to Southern California. Yes Albert, I know the team's name is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and we're the Anaheim Ducks, but we're actually right across the street from each other. Come on down if you'd like to see another semi-full hockey building. It's incredibly ironic that the Ducks are playing in St. Louis on the same day that their baseball counterpart swipes STL's beloved son right from under their noses. (Check out our SB Nation and Anaheim brotha-from-anotha-motha Halos Heaven for all your breaking Pujols news.)

Back to the subject at hand - hockey. Having a new coach is a lot like having a new baby (I am told), there are a lot of "firsts". On Tuesday we had Bruce Boudreau's first win. Now we have Boudreau's first roadtrip, and he happens to be facing his first replacement coach for the opposition as well. Ken Hitchcock took over the Blues weeks ago, comes into this game with a 9-1-2 record behind the bench. His most recent win was on Tuesday against a surging Red Wings team.

Ahh Tuesday, the day the Ducks won with seconds left in the game against the Kings. Moments like that have been non-existent this season. While I don't expect the Ducks to have complete confidence in themselves, I think they'll be more comfortable on the ice knowing that they can come back from adversity and win a game. Baby steps.

Go Ducks.
