It took the first ever hat trick by a Ducks defenseman and last minute heroics by both Teemu Selanne and Dan Ellis, but the Ducks downed the Stars 4-3 in overtime. Anaheim wavered in the first two periods, but Lubomir Visnovsky and some diligent work in front of the net were enough to pull out a dramatic win late.
