- St Louis Blues forward David Perron will miss training camp and the beginning of the regular season due to concussion symptoms. [TSN]
- Patrick Sharp has signed a 5 year contract extension with the Blackhawks. The deal will have a $5.9 million salary cap hit/season. [Chicago Tribune]
