AC's Hate Week: Something About You Is Just So Hateable

Have you ever come across a person that, before they said anything, you knew you wanted to punch them in face?

Randy Sartin-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

You know who really grinds my gears? Well a lot of entities and people. San Jose Sharks, Nashville Predators, Detroit Red Wings, and Los Angeles Kings (teams and fans). But all of those things have already been talked about; more eloquently hated-on than I could ever hope to. Instead, I'm going to focus on three specific individuals that I just can't stand:

Todd Bertuzzi

So many reasons to hate Bertuzzi and so little time.

The fact that this guy is still playing professional hockey is....well.....unbelievable. And not in the Teemu Selanne way, but in the "I can't believe Trevor Gillies was allowed to play in the NHL way". The fact that he is still allowed to play after what he did to Steve Moore is a disgrace to the game. Not only that, but he makes millions of dollars every year even after that happened.

His history with the Ducks still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. He played horribly, he "made" us trade Andy McDonald, and we had to buy out his ridiculous contract. Worst. Duck. Ever.

He plays for the Red Wings now. Need I say more?

Shane Doan

I never really hated this guy until the 2010-2011 season. I always thought Doan was a great leader and solid player...

...and then I saw him demolish Cam Fowler and then later Dan Sexton. Ever since those two incidents, I just can't look at him the same way. I'm not sure if I'd call him a dirty player, but he's definitely a guy I hate to see on the ice. The fact that he some how gets that team in the playoffs every year is even more infuriating.

Dustin Brown

I hate this guy. I hate that he touched The Cup. I hate that he was the captain of a team to win The Cup. I just straight up hate him.

He's a flopper, a terribly unspectacular captain, and a bum. He gets away with some blatantly dangerous hits, and yet never gets called for them. Somehow he is one of the players with the highest drawn penalties over the last few years. He's a dirty player. Soccer players flop less than he does.

He has coasted on the success of better players to a Cup with a team that he's the captain of. Seriously, I can name five players on that team that are more important to that teams success, all of whom I like better. Hell, I probably would have rooted for the Kings if he wasn't on their team. I HATE DUSTIN BROWN!!!

Well that was therapeutic.....
