Ryan Getzlaf's franchise record 10 game assist streak ends as he records a goal and three assists in a 7-4 loss in Detroit. Oddly enough, Corey Perry would tie that record with a streak that began the night before in a 3-2 shootout loss at Columbus. It's almost as if those guys feed off of each other or something.

Nov. 15 2006
Lost to Philadelphia, 7-4, tying a record for most goals allowed in a period (5), most assists by an opposing team in a period (obscure) and most points by an opposing team in a period (obviously). I specifically remember watching this game because it was such a role reversal. The Ducks were one point behind Buffalo for the best record in the league and had just come off their 16 game "unbeaten" (12-0-4) streak to start the season, while Philly was tied with Phoenix for the worst record in the league with only 10 standings points, to the Ducks' 30.

Looking back, it was kind of a convergence of circumstances. It does make some sense that they would have a letdown after such a streak, not to mention the Ducks have always had the tendency to play down to their opponent and it was the first game after Burkie's Nov 13th shopping spree.

Nov. 15, 2007

Nov. 15, 2005
