I Love the Smell of a Game 7 in the Late Afternoon Playoff Thread: WSH/BOS

It doesn't matter the sport, a Game 7 situation is probably one of my favorite things. The fact that I get three Game 7's in two days is practically a dream come true.

GAME 1: Washington Capitals at Boston Bruins, 4:30PM on NBCSN, CBC, RDS, CSN-DC, NESN

SBN Sites: Stanley Cup of Chowder & Japers' Rink

Series Record & Storyline(s): Boston 3 - Washington 3. Next to Sharks, the Caps have been a perennial choke-tastic team in the playoffs. They just can't win a big game and I expect nothing different. As awesome as Braden Holtby has been, he hasn't been through the riggors of a Game 7, like, say, Tim Thomas. If there is one thing Thomas can do, it's win big games. Unless Alex Ovechkin decides to show up tonight, it's Boston's game to lose.

Tonight is Game 3 of the Syracuse Crunch's series against the St. John's Whitecaps. The best-of-5 series is currently split at a game a piece. Goooo Ducklings!
