It's official folks, two of our neighbors in the Pacific Division will be meeting in the Western Conference Finals. The Los Angeles Kings and the Phoenix Coyotes will do battle for their chance to head to the Stanley Cup Final. Just weeks ago, it seemed like no one even wanted to win the Pacific and look where we are now.

As a Ducks fan, the pairing isn't exactly ideal. Regardless of who wins, we'll have to hear them be called the "Western Conference Champions" (or worse) six times over the next season. If my post "I Just Hate the Kings So Much (And Here's Why)" isn't a clear indicator of who I'm likely to throw my support behind, you're likely a Kings fan. HA! My writers are free to make their own decisions, but I have pledged my support to the guys at Five For Howling.

I hate when the Ducks get these chants in other arenas because it is geographically incorrect, but it's never been more appropriate to say than right now, "BEAT LA!"
